5th & 6th Grade Curriculum
The No Child Left Behind Law, New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards and the North Hanover Township Board of Education all mandate that our students are presented with a learning environment capable of meeting all requirements. The required curriculum includes: Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Visual and Performing Arts, Technology, World Language, and Physical Education/Health.

Our program seeks to provide a "Middle School" academic environment while maintaining the integrity of an Elementary School program. Children change classes daily for one or two major subjects daily and learn to adjust to a variety of teaching methodologies. At the same time, the grat majority of their instructional day is spent with their "homeroom teacher" providing the stability that is still necessary at these age levels.
