WELCOME TO THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR!!!
A little about me...I have been a Special Education Teacher in the North Hanover School District for 18 years. I have taught students in grades 1 - 6, as a Pull Out Resource Teacher, as well as an In Class Resource Teacher.
I believe in teaching my students to have a Growth Mindset. I encourage positive thinking and a "can do" attitude. My students are expected to always put forth their best effort in Reading, Writing and Math.
My homework and test policy:
Students should be reading 20 minutes per day. I encourage parents to have students read independently, have students read to you, or you can read with your child.
Math homework will be assigned no more three times a week, however, most students are able to complete homework during class time. Students will have advance notice before a test is given, and study worksheets will go home so you can help your child study.
Please check students agenda books on a regular basis so you can be informed of any upcoming quizzes or tests.
