At Upper Elementary School, our Student Government program empowers students to become active participants in their school community while developing essential leadership and citizenship skills.
🎯 Purpose & Goals
The Student Government provides students with opportunities to:

Represent their peers and promote student voice

Collaborate on school-wide events and initiatives

Practice responsibility, teamwork, and decision-making

Foster school spirit and a sense of pride in our UES community
🧑🏫 Structure

Student Government includes elected representatives from each grade level

Roles may include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Class Representatives

Meetings are held regularly during the school day to plan events, discuss student ideas, and work with staff sponsors

Past Student Government initiatives have included:
