Welcome to Band

Instrumental lessons are offered to any students in 4th, 5th and 6th grade that are interested in learning how to play an instrument. The instruments that are offered through our program are flute, clarinet, drums, saxophone, trumpet and trombone. Students will learn how to read music, assemble their instruments, and correctly produce tones. We will start with very basic music theory and advance as the year progresses. All written materials are provided by the school.

For students to be successful in music lessons and band, it is very important that they attend all scheduled lessons, AND be prepared with their instrument and music. Students also need to come to class knowing how to perform their assignments. Thank you for your support
