School Bus Expectations & Conduct Policy
Riding the school bus is a privilege, not a right. All students are expected to follow the bus rules to maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly environment. Misbehavior on the bus jeopardizes everyone’s safety and will result in disciplinary action, including possible suspension from the bus.
✅ Bus Expectations
Students must follow these rules at all times:
-
Use respectful, quiet voices – no yelling or loud noise.
-
Stay seated, facing forward – seatbelts on (if available), feet on the floor.
-
Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself – no physical contact or throwing items.
-
Keep the aisle and exits clear – no backpacks or bodies in the walkway.
-
No eating, drinking, or gum – to avoid choking and keep the bus clean.
-
Use appropriate language – no rude, profane, or suggestive words.
-
Follow all directions given by the bus driver.
-
Never tamper with emergency equipment – this includes exit doors, windows, and alarms.
-
Remain respectful to others at all times – no teasing, threats, or bullying.
