School Hours and Arrival/Dismissal Procedures
The school day at Upper Elementary School runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. daily.
Arrival Procedures

Doors open at 7:40 a.m.—students may not enter the building before this time.

Bus riders should arrive between 7:40 and 7:45 a.m.

Car riders may begin drop-off at 7:45 a.m. UES staff will assist students exiting vehicles.

Class begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. Students must be in their classrooms and ready to learn by this time.

Any student arriving after 8:00 a.m. is considered tardy and must be signed in by a parent or guardian at the main office.
🚗 Car Rider Safety Reminder:
Students must be dropped off only at the designated car rider loop. For safety reasons, please do not drop students off in the parking lot or along the road.
Dismissal Procedures

Dismissal begins at 2:45 p.m. Students exit through the front of the building to board buses or meet car-riding parents.

There is no access to classrooms or lockers after 3:00 p.m. unless a staff member is available to escort the stuent.

Students may not leave school grounds unless signed out in person by a parent or emergency contact.

Students being dismissed early must be signed out at the main office by 2:25.

Please be prepared to show ID as needed at car rider line or the main office.
For early dismissals:

Please call the main office directly to coordinate pickup.

Do not leave messages on teacher voicemail or email, or Class Dojo as these may not be received in time.
