Student Transfers
If your child will be transferring out of Upper Elementary School during the school year, please notify the main office at least one week in advance of your child’s final day. This allows our staff time to:
-
Prepare the transfer card
-
Assemble all necessary academic, health, and attendance documentation
-
Coordinate communication with the receiving school
Transfer cards will be available for pick-up on the student’s last day. Official student records will be sent directly to the receiving school upon formal request, in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Military Families – MIC3 & EFMP Requirements
Under the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children (MIC3):
For families enrolled in the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP):
-
Please notify the school office or CST team at least two weeks in advance of any required school paperwork for the EFMP portion of your PCS process.
-
EFMP forms often require team input, official review, and administrative signatures and may take up to 10 business days to complete.
Please Note:
-
Allow adequate time for record requests, especially during peak times such as end-of-year transfers or military PCS season.
-
The school will not release records directly to third-party individuals without written authorization from a parent or legal guardian.
